High Country Behavioral Health (HCBH) is looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team. At HCBH, we fulfill this mission by staying on the forefront of behavioral health, offering a full suite of advanced interventions for treatment-resistant depression and complex cases, including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), Ketamine therapy, and Spravato (Esketamine). Key Responsibilities- Clinical Excellence:
Perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and medical oversight for a diverse patient population. - Advanced Interventions:
Utilize and oversee cutting-edge FDA-approved modalities, including TMS, Ketamine, and Esketamine (Spravato) for treatment-resistant populations. - Integrated Care:
Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, and the Clinical Director to ensure care is recovery-oriented, evidence-based, and delivered in the least restrictive environment. - Comprehensive Management:
Provide psychiatric medication management, including Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). - Efficiency & Documentation:
Maintain precise Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and submit billing documentation within 3 business days of encounters.
- Education:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Nursing. - Certification:
Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) through the ANCC or AANP. - Licensure:
Unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the State of Idaho (Required).- Licensure in Wyoming (Highly Preferred).
- Valid DEA registration with unrestricted prescriptive authority.
- Experience:
Two years of PMHNP clinical and prescribing experience (preferred). - Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of empathy, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team model.
