Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!
Job SummaryResponsible for assisting physician with all patient care: clerical and clinical. Convey a positive image of the clinic. He/she communicates with providers/nurse/manager/co-workers as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic evaluation and changes in patient condition or symptomatology. Work well under pressure and prioritize.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesMountain View Hospital and our 29 affiliate clinics are committed to providing compassionate, cutting edge care to our patients. QualificationsEducation/Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant or comparable experience in a medical office working as a Medical Assistant.
Experience: CMA course, Phlebotomy course and experience, and IV certification preferred.
Equipment/Technology: Basic computer and typing skills. Manual blood pressure experience preferred.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual is a plus. Must understand medical terminology.

Skills:
Basic skills required.
Mental Capabilities: Able to follow basic commands and learn how to operate an electronic medical record in a proper and accurate manner.
Interpersonal: Able to interact with staff and patients in a polite, political, and efficient manner.
