Position Overview
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support a large-scale project in accounting and finance functions. The analyst will focus on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance, and will play an integral role in the month‑end close and financial reporting cycle.

LocationIdaho Falls, / Scoville, / Lenexa, KS. This is an on‑site, non‑remote, non‑hybrid position.
Responsibilities- Recognize the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs and helping in other areas as needed.
- Foster relationships with the Operations team and show a willingness to learn about the work.
- Understand the payroll and HR process workflow, and master the systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay all employees.
- Comprehend how goods are purchased, invoices are received and paid, and maintain purchasing workflow internal controls.
- Demonstrate understanding of the accounts payable process workflow and troubleshoot payment or vendor issues.
- Understand intercompany and client billing process workflow, importance of timely and accurate billing documentation, and the effects on cash management.
- Ensure all cost and cost adjustments are reviewed for accuracy to meet company standards and accounting rules.
- Review costs, quantity claiming, budget structure and exception reports and make appropriate corrections to ensure accurate reporting for management.
- Identify, adjust, and review forecast and budget issues with the cost report to confirm proper recognition of cost and revenue.
- Display first‑rate customer service skills – maintain a positive attitude and always be willing to offer a helping hand to other team members.
- Maintain a highly organized work environment, understand the importance of time management, and communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner.
- Follow the Corporate Compliance Program and work in conjunction with the compliance department to implement all EEO and labor laws at the project level.
- 3–5+ years of financial/data analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Travel and/or relocation may be required (up to 50%).
- Experience with Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups and other key Excel functions is preferred.
- Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide‑ranging climates and environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
- Eligibility requires sole US citizenship; proof of citizenship must be provided for badge access to the site.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively, understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
