Finance Analyst- Nuclear Solutions- Falls Lenexa, KS

Position Overview

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support a large-scale project in accounting and finance functions. The analyst will focus on cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance, and will play an integral role in the month‑end close and financial reporting cycle.

Idaho Falls,  / Scoville,  / Lenexa, KS. This is an on‑site, non‑remote, non‑hybrid position.

• Recognize the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs and helping in other areas as needed.
• Foster relationships with the Operations team and show a willingness to learn about the work.
• Understand the payroll and HR process workflow, and master the systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay all employees.
• Comprehend how goods are purchased, invoices are received and paid, and maintain purchasing workflow internal controls.
• Demonstrate understanding of the accounts payable process workflow and troubleshoot payment or vendor issues.
• Understand intercompany and client billing process workflow, importance of timely and accurate billing documentation, and the effects on cash management.
• Ensure all cost and cost adjustments are reviewed for accuracy to meet company standards and accounting rules.
• Review costs, quantity claiming, budget structure and exception reports and make appropriate corrections to ensure accurate reporting for management.
• Identify, adjust, and review forecast and budget issues with the cost report to confirm proper recognition of cost and revenue.
• Display first‑rate customer service skills – maintain a positive attitude and always be willing to offer a helping hand to other team members.
• Maintain a highly organized work environment, understand the importance of time management, and communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner.
• Follow the Corporate Compliance Program and work in conjunction with the compliance department to implement all EEO and labor laws at the project level.

• 3–5+ years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Travel and/or relocation may be required (up to 50%).
• Experience with Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups and other key Excel functions is preferred.
• Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide‑ranging climates and environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Eligibility requires sole US citizenship; proof of citizenship must be provided for badge access to the site.
