Overview
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Specialist to work on our Research Accelerator team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located at our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities- Support the development of technical, schedule, and budget baselines and maintain them during project execution.
- Support procurements of equipment and staff logistical needs.
- Support teams with product development and delivery according to project requirements.
- Support project managers to coordinate task activities and ensure all phases of the task(s) are documented appropriately.
- As requested, coordinate asset management, program logistics, and procurement activities.
- Develop and standardize processes to address project needs including ordering, purchasing, receiving, tracking, deployment and organizing equipment and products for assigned projects.
- Support project managers to develop documents such as execution plans, project plans, and operational guidelines.
- Track team activities and access lists.
- Coordinate internal/external activities in support of project requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Level 2:
Bachelor e22s degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science, Business, Homeland Security or directly related field and at least 2 years direct professional experience - Level 3:
Bachelor e22s degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science, Business, Homeland Security or directly related field and at least 5 years direct professional experience - Past experience performing project support activities within a project management or similar type role.
- Experience supporting teams with product development and delivery according to project requirements.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- Direct professional project management or support experience
- Awareness of INL processes for budgeting, procurement, contracting, etc.
- The pay range for this position is:
Level 2 ($57,44min - $112,068max) / Level 3 ($66,504min - $136,356max). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials. - TDP:
This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment. - Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with the public is required.
