Ideal candidates are near a Jacobs U.S. office.
- Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership by aligning technologies with internal and client goals.
- Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate technical setup and model deliverables.
- Create and implement Design and Construction BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects; integrate VDC tasks across 3D logistics, 4D scheduling, 5D cost, and quantity take-offs.
- Administer the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction, including Docs, Build, and Coordination modules.
- Lead clash detection, resolution meetings, and serve as BIM Subject Matter Expert on projects.
- Coordinate laser scan data integration, Scan to BIM efforts, model redline, as‑built processes, and verify construction installation.
- Facilitate reality capture and progress reporting (360 photos, laser scans, drone data).
- Act as technology lead and offer in‑field technical troubleshooting for software and mobile device applications.
- Collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors during business development, proposals, and estimates.
- Support team development: develop training materials, provide technical guidance, recruit, manage, and mentor employees.
- Provide on‑site leadership and coordinate VDC activities with field operations.
- At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven track record of on‑site leadership of VDC activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, both on‑site and virtually.
- Experience developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
- Willingness to work on site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
