Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in parts and customer service. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for sourcing, managing, and distributing irrigation parts, ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain.
Responsibilities- Manage inventory levels
- Source parts efficiently through Vendor channels, dealership networks, and sourcing strategies to meet demand planning requirements.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, including warehouse management, shipping & receiving documentation.
- Conduct data entry with precision to update inventory records, procurement transactions, and pricing adjustments within Net Suite
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate lead times, and delivery schedules while maintaining strong supplier relationships through effective procurement management.
- Assist service technicians and installation crew by providing mechanical knowledge on parts specifications, compatibility, and installation procedures.
- Support warehouse operations by utilizing equipment for safe movement of parts within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and perform inventory audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting dealership staff or external clients with order inquiries, product recommendations, and technical support related to irrigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse experience, equipment repair, and shipping & receiving protocols.
- Utilize data entry skills to process purchase orders efficiently while adhering to sourcing policies and procurement guidelines.
- Proven experience in customer service
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques including demand planning, inventory control, and procurement processes.
- Experience operating forklifts a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; attention to detail is critical for maintaining precise records.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and external partners.
- Able to learn and apply logistics principles including shipping & receiving practices and sourcing strategies.
- Experience working in dealership environments or warehouse settings is highly desirable.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
