Provide services and support as a Program/Project Analyst II in the Federal Energy & Nuclear Industry Sector, focusing on Management and Operations Solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOEID). This full‑time, exempt W2 position is located on‑site at the DOE Idaho Operations Office (1955 Fremont Avenue, Idaho Falls, ) and may involve travel within the Mountain West Region.
Responsibilities- Support senior‑level program analysis, strategic planning, performance metrics evaluation, and advisory to leadership.
- Provide mid‑level project and program management support: track project status, financial matters, budgets, schedules, and compliance with DOE guidelines.
- Prepare reports, gather data, and develop briefings to inform decision‑making.
- Evaluate performance, advise leadership, and recommend improvements to controls and processes.
- Assist in acquisition and grants management support, business program and project management initiatives.
- 7+ years senior program analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related field plus 3 years relevant experience.
- Associate’s degree plus 5 years relevant experience, or 7 years relevant experience;
Master’s degree preferred. - Functional and technical knowledge in the Federal Energy & Nuclear Sector.
- Federal budgeting concepts and familiarity with DOE guidelines.
- Strong analytical and financial consulting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project) and advanced analytics tools.
- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritization, and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strategic insight and leadership.
