Job Description

Pro Sidian seeks a Legal Support Specialist III in Professional Administrative & Management Support Services (PAMSS) for Program Support on a Exempt W2:
No Overtime Pay Basis. Working on‑site at client location in Idaho, across the United States – Mountain West Region. The role supports the Federal Energy & Nuclear Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOEID) and DOE Idaho Operations Office.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Legal Support Specialist III in the Federal Energy & Nuclear Industry Sector. Duties include providing clerical and administrative legal support; preparing basic legal documents, maintaining case files, scheduling meetings, and supporting attorneys with document management. Novel functions within the Professional Administrative & Management Support Services domain, delivering integrated administrative, analytical, and operational support that enables efficient, compliant, mission‑focused organizational performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AND DUTIES

Provides advanced‑level legal support and administrative services to the Office of Chief Counsel (OCC).

Responsibilities include:

assisting attorneys in complex case evaluation, development, and litigation; preparing and reviewing a wide array of legal documents; conducting detailed legal research and data analysis; assisting with the intern program; and managing ethics records and financial disclosure reporting. May act as a backup for OCC counsel at personal security hearings. Prepare legal documents, manage files, schedule meetings, support attorneys.

COMPUTATION OF EXPERIENCE

Initial work site address: U.S. Department of Energy – Idaho Operations Office, Office of Nuclear Energy, 1955 Fremont Avenue, Idaho Falls, .

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–3 years legal or administrative support in a federal environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or related field + 5 years relevant experience (security clearance required).
  • Equivalency:
    Associate’s Degree + 7 years relevant experience; OR 9 years relevant experience.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Paralegal Certificate) from an ABA‑approved program is highly desirable.
  • Experience in federal legal processes, administrative law, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FOIA/PA, OGE Form 450).
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Expert proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis Nexis).
  • Advanced knowledge of federal legal processes, administrative law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to conduct legal research and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word;
    Advanced use of Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
