Role Overview
The Chief of Staff (CoS) acts as a strategic partner to the Chairman/CEO, ensuring execution excellence, cross-functional alignment, and leadership bandwidth optimization. This role blends strategy, execution, communication, and governance, serving as a force multiplier for the leadership office.
The CoS does not replace functional leaders but ensures that priorities move forward, decisions are executed, and outcomes are tracked.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Translate Chairman/CEO vision into clear strategic priorities, OKRs, and execution roadmaps
- Drive annual and quarterly business planning, reviews, and follow-ups
- Track strategic initiatives across business units and ensure on-time delivery
- Prepare strategy decks, board notes, and leadership presentations
2. CEO Office & Decision Support
- Act as the first line of thinking partner for the Chairman/CEO
- Research, analyze, and present data-backed insights for key decisions
- Filter, structure, and prioritize information flowing into the CEO’s office
- Follow through on CEO decisions and ensure closure
3. Cross-Functional Alignment
- Coordinate with Business Heads, CXOs, and functional leaders
- Resolve inter-departmental dependencies and execution bottlenecks
- Ensure alignment between Strategy, Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Ops
4. Performance Tracking & Governance
- Establish weekly/monthly dashboards for business and functional performance
- Track KPIs, OKRs, and action items from leadership meetings
- Ensure governance cadence for reviews, audits, and compliance
- Drive accountability without direct authority
5. Special Projects & Transformation
- Lead high-impact, time-bound initiatives (new ventures, restructuring, M&A integration, turnaround projects)
- Support due diligence, investor presentations, and strategic partnerships
- Act as the project owner for Chairman-led initiatives
6. Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Draft internal communications, leadership notes, and key announcements
- Coordinate with external stakeholders when delegated (investors, partners, consultants)
- Represent the CEO office in meetings as required

Preferred Background & Experience
- MBA / CA / CFA / Tier-1 institute background (preferred, not mandatory)
- Prior experience as:
- Chief of Staff
- Strategy Manager
- Founder’s Office / CEO Office
- Consulting / Corporate Strategy / PMO
- Exposure to multi-business or high-growth organizations is a strong plus
- Min 6 to 8 Years Experience is must
Reporting To
- You will report to the CEO of EBG Group
Working Days
- Monday to Saturday Working (6 days a week), Timings – 10 am to 7pm
Joining Time
- Within Max 30 days.
Reporting Office
- You will be based at our new EBG Group Central Office, Hitec City Area, Hyderabad
