Pam Gro helps clients with global expansion through its global employer-of-record (EOR) and workforce enablement platform. This role exists to unblock sales, speed up contracting, and keep us compliant as we scale across countries. You will sit between Sales, Operations, and Legal, helping teams move fast while making informed, risk-aware decisions. This is not a pure legal advisory role — and not a pure compliance role.
It is a commercial, pragmatic legal-enablement role.
Responsibilities
1. Contracting & Sales Support
- Be the first point of contact for contract reviews and changes.
- Help Sales teams respond quickly to client asks and non-standard terms.
- Redline contracts, suggest alternatives, and reduce back-and-forth.
- Escalate only genuinely complex or high-risk issues to group legal/external counsel.
2. Employment Law & Compliance Guidance
- Apply employment-law thinking to real business scenarios (EOR, contractor vs employee, benefits, allowances, add-ons).
- Help teams understand what is mandatory vs flexible across key geographies (UK, EU, US, India).
- Support new constructs (e.g. car lease, benefits) with clear compliance positions.
3. Compliance Knowledge & Risk Hygiene
- Maintain a practical knowledge base on employment compliance across countries.
- Translate regulations into usable guidance for Sales and Ops.
- Track risks, flag issues early, and support audits when required.
4. Partnering with Central Legal & Leadership
- Work closely with Avance legal and external counsel when needed.
- Present clear risk–reward trade-offs to leadership.
- Help leadership make informed decisions without slowing the business down.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10 years in legal, compliance, or HR operations roles within global staffing, EOR/PEO, or payroll firms.
- Strong experience with contracting and employment-related matters.
- Comfortable working with Sales and business teams under time pressure.
- Practical, commercial mindset — not overly theoretical.
