Technical Support Engineer – Network & Infrastructure

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and securing the network infrastructure that drives our radiology and healthcare IT systems. This is a high-impact role where your work directly supports life-critical medical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable network infrastructure for healthcare environments
Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
Monitor network performance proactively and execute upgrades to ensure optimal uptime and speed
Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
Collaborate with Dev Ops teams for streamlined CI/CD pipelines and network performance optimization
Provide Level 2/3 technical support and training to internal teams on network best practices
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, SOPs, and incident reports
Manage NOC operations and respond to network alerts and incidents within defined SLAs
Required Skills
Proficient in Dev Ops methodologies and associated tooling
Strong server administration experience in Linux and Windows Server environments
Hands-on experience with network protocols — BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, MPLS
Working knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, SD-WAN)
Experience with network security tools — firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, SIEM
Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field
Certification required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CompTIA Network+ , or equivalent
Additional certifications preferred: CCNP, AWS Certified Networking, Azure Network Engineer
