EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:
Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) - EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
The opportunity
This role provides technical expertise on the development and support of activities, processes, and tools for assessing, validating, and ensuring the vulnerability and integrity of systems while conducting vulnerability scans, supporting intrusion detection, and aiding in disaster recovery and secure coding practices.
Your key responsibilities
Manages asset inventory and assessment schedules, and provides metrics on security consulting resources, assists with managing vendor relationships.
Supports security assessments to measure the adequacy of existing information security controls. Identifies potential and actual system vulnerabilities and emerging strategic security needs and recommends corrective measures.
Participates and documents evaluation and assessment of security requirements for data systems, networks, or websites.
Supports the review, development, testing, and implementation processes for security plans, risk assessments, products and control techniques.
Consults with IT sub-divisions, third party partners, senior technical risk assurance associates and business units in defining standard consistent reporting formats and providing standard data reports.
Supports technical assessments of assets, risks, and the implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Conducts vulnerability scans on web applications and infrastructure, escalating findings for remediation.
Assists in forensic analysis and monitoring of system logs for early detection of security breaches.
Coordinates virus protection efforts and supports intrusion detection system (IDS) tuning and monitoring.
Provides technical support in implementing secure coding practices and validating security controls during development cycles.
Aids in execution of disaster recovery and data backup procedures aligned with risk mitigation plans.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical risk management, IT auditing, or cybersecurity assessment.
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline Master's degree or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience in IT security or application development preferred.
