This role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on UX designer who thrives in a collaborative
environment, enjoys solving complex problems at scale, and is passionate about improving
digital banking experiences. The candidate will need to be a player coach.
Primary responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end UX strategy and design, including hands-on work, for high-impact
digital projects and initiatives across mobile, web, and responsive platforms.
• Lead UX designers in the work to translate business and user needs into clear, usable,
and elegant design solutions.
• Work closely with other Principal Designers, UX Directors, and Product Owners to
ensure consistency and alignment across products.
• Engage directly in design reviews, strategy sessions, and planning meetings with cross
- functional teams.
• Oversee and guide the creation user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
designs.
• Contribute to, leverage, and help evolve the bank’s design system and accessibility
standards.
• Partner with UX researchers to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Use data and feedback to iterate and improve user experiences.
• Provide guidance and feedback to mid-level and junior designers.
• Help foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, learning, and design excellence.
Required Skills/
Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in UX, with a strong portfolio of digital work.
• Experience designing for complex systems or regulated industries (financial services
preferred).
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong understanding of native mobile, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and
usability principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in large design teams or matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with agile development environments and design operations.
• Knowledge of financial services, fintech platforms, or customer-facing banking tools.
• Degree in HFID, HCI, Psychology, or a related field.
