Kline is aiming to establish a highly effective Data Science Centre of Excellence, based in Hyderabad, who will spearhead the next phase of growth. This team will be responsible for the enhancement of existing solutions and develop new, world-class products.
Here is a little more about the role. The role will be varied, solving new problems from:
Designing new data science and analytical solutions to real-world business challenges
Wrangling and cleaning big datasets ready for use in data science code
Coding effective algorithm scripts that analyse and organise unstructured data
Working on a combination of client and internal stakeholder use cases
Developing AI solutions which increase efficiency and offer enhanced user capabilities
Now here is the official job description: Kline and Company is currently seeking a Data Scientist to join its Analytics Centre of Excellence, part of the wider Digital innovation team. The successful candidate will profoundly collaborate across the organization, with technical experts in the Digital Innovation team, our key Technology partners and domain subject matter experts globally.

Day-to-Day activities and goals:
Responsibility for Kline’s QI Analytics service desk, delivering analytics and data science tasks for real-life business scenarios
Building predictive models which size and forecast market growth across different segments
Developing social media, web traffic and consumer search workflows which track ingredient, competitor and consumer trends
Working across big datasets, effectively implementing fit for purpose data cleaning and wrangling processes
Designing automated architecture, connecting data pipelines across multiple software and platforms, including web scraping activities
Leveraging AI, ranging from chat functionality which extracts insight from big datasets or attributing metadata based on product information
Combining multiple data sources to produce greater detail and segmentation
Utilising numerous data science techniques, such as NLP, clustering, decision tree algorithms, anomaly analytics and Bayesian recursion to name but a few
Input into the UX design of the dashboard consumption layer
Essential
Skills:
Knowledge of analytical and data science techniques
Coding background and proficiency
Excel formula and functionality experience
A logical and problem solving mindset
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Additional
Skills:
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Python or other similar coding background
SQL Server and database management
AI and Machine Learning competency
Databricks or similar code management platform
Experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory or Azure Analysis Services
SSIS, SSAS, Multidimensional Cubes, DAX or MDX
