Job Description:

Your role
The Associate Director – SAP PaPM is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery, stability, and strategic enhancement of SAP PaPM solutions supporting regulatory reporting and finance transformation initiatives. The role provides technical leadership, ensures adherence to UBS governance and control standards, and partners closely with senior business and IT stakeholders across global locations.

Are you SAP PaPM expert with 10+ years’ overall experience in SAP and 4+ years’ experience in SAP PaPM/FSPer. You are independent, hands-on and able to manage projects efficiently?
10+ years overall SAP experience, including at least 4+ years in SAP PaPM / FSPER.
Configuring SAP PaPM and implementing Data Sourcing , Calculations within the SAP PaPM application.
Own design, build, configuration, and maintenance of SAP PaPM models, calculation views, environments, and interfaces.
Experience and understanding of the latest releases on SAP PAPM functionality
Must have worked in Dev Ops, Agile development practices
Development and rollout/deployment of SAP PaPM / FSPER application
Implement best practices of using SAP PaPM/ FSPER application
Ensure adherence to UBS SDLC, change management (CAB), audit, and control requirements.
Coordinate with Basis, Security, and Infrastructure teams for upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediation.
Nice to have SAP PaPM/ FSPER certification
Hands on with Integration of SAP PaPM/ FSPER with Azure
Very strong skills in SAP PAPM, SAP HANA(SQL Script) and BW
Knowledge of SAP S4

HANA, HANA Studio and ABAP would be an added advantage
Should possess good client interaction, excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to talk to Client technical team.
Including simulation and reporting elements
Key user concepts for financial and business entities
building blocks and reusability of templates

Your experience and skills
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounts/Costing / IT
Implementation / support in SAP PaPM / FSPER , Release Management , SAP ABAP , FICO Module
Minimum of 6 years of experience in PaPM development including relevant project work
Very strong skills in SAP PAPM, SAP HANA(SQL Script)
Knowledge of SAP S4

HANA, HANA Studio, ABAP, BW would be an added advantage
Deep understanding of one or more Finance domain knowledge (Costing, Profitability, Allocations, GL, Regulatory reporting).
Strong Experience in working with multiple teams / stakeholders including business and development teams across multiple shores
Experience supporting production systems and business‑critical close activities.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents and business requirements.
Must be detail oriented and quality driven. Good communication and customer service skills
Should be comfortable working in multiple projects at a time and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent consulting skills to enhance & improve existing SAP PaPM calculations based on “Best Practices” backed by strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to build up a strong relationship among the IT organization and business users across the UBS organization
A great communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong analytical mind coupled with problem solving skills
known for hitting deadlines and staying within budget
capable and flexible to work in cross-functional teams and cross-cultural teams across multiple locations and time zones
Preferred, Exposure to SAP S/4

HANA Finance.

Experience with large-volume PaPM runs and performance optimization.
