Associate Software Engineer - Machine Learning

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate fresher with strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding Machine Learning, and Statistics to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. You will work with senior engineers and data scientists to design, build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models that solve real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams to design and develop machine learning models and data-driven solutions.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Build, train, validate, and fine-tune machine learning and deep learning models.
Implement and optimize algorithms for performance and scalability.
Deploy machine learning models into production environments using APIs or batch pipelines.
Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.
Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Stay updated with the latest research, tools, and best practices in AI/ML.

Required

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or final-year student / equivalent practical experience).
Strong proficiency in Python.
Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms (Supervised and Unsupervised learning).
Strong Knowledge of Statistics, Probability, and Linear Algebra fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with libraries such as Num Py, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib/Seaborn.
Basic understanding of Deep Learning frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Familiarity with model evaluation techniques and performance metrics.
Basic knowledge of SQL and working with datasets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
