Solution Design: Lead the design and development of complex Service Now solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on the Service Now platform, staying up to date with the latest features and capabilities, and providing guidance to the team.
Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into well-defined technical solutions within the Service Now platform.
Architecture Development: Design and document technical architectures, including workflows, integrations, data structures, and system interfaces, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Integration Management: Plan and oversee the integration of Service Now with other business systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
Solution Implementation: Provide hands-on technical leadership during the implementation phase, guiding developers and administrators to ensure the successful execution of the designed solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates, project status, and addressing any concerns or questions.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, process workflows, and architecture diagrams.
Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support teams on the effective use and administration of implemented Service Now solutions.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhancement of existing solutions, proactively suggesting improvements to achieve business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (8+ years) as a Service Now Solution Architect, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing complex Service Now solutions.
Service Now
Certifications:
Service Now Certified System Administrator and Service Now Certified Application Developer are required. Additional certifications like CIS for product lines, Service Now Certified Technical Architect are advantageous.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
Proficiency in Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Angular
JS, Jelly) and configuration to customize and extend the platform.
Experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and third-party system integrations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project management skills to lead and oversee solution implementation projects from conception to completion.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in Service Now and IT service management.
