Relational Intelligence Agility Lead

As an Agility Lead within the flagship Relational Intelligence Product, you will play a critical part of our leadership team responsible for coaching, influencing, and driving the agile mindset maturity. In this role, you will provide feedback and development opportunities for the adoption and maturity of agility within our feature teams, focus on delivery of the Product agenda, partner with our Head of Agility to refine the operating model, while looking at delivery across our teams to identify early issues, make necessary adjustments and communicate.
As an Agility Lead at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices within our teams. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles, use your expert guidance, mentorship, and support to teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a recognized subject matter expert, put your knowledge to use to work on complex issues, exercise considerable judgment, and make impactful decisions that shape the operational and business direction of your sub-function.
Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively, while continuously adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and coach feature teams to adopt and implement agile methodologies, and promote open communication and engagement among team members ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals. Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership. Adopt, support and implement transformation plans, prioritize tasks and manage resources to achieve product goals in a timely and efficient manner through the utilization of metrics and evidence-based decisions.
Identify trends and generate original ideas to contribute to the development of new policies and best practices within the discipline
Agile Coaching, Mentoring & Facilitation
Guide teams and individuals in understanding and applying agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and best practices.
Mentor feature teams to build agile capabilities and Facilitate agile training sessions and workshops.
Lead agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) when needed.
Help teams resolve impediments and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency.
Encourage open communication and feedback within and across teams.
Continuous Improvement & Change Agent
Promote a mindset of experimentation and learning, support teams in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Track and analyze metrics to measure team performance and process effectiveness.
Advocate for agile transformation across the organization, work with leadership to align agile initiatives with business goals.
Help manage resistance to change and address cultural challenges.
Governance, Compliance & Scaling Agile
Ensure agile processes comply with organizational policies and standards, assist in scaling agile practices across multiple teams or departments (e.g., using SAFe, LeSS, or other scaling frameworks).
Support teams in meeting regulatory and audit requirements within agile frameworks.
Coordinate cross-team dependencies and facilitate program-level planning.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management
