About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have experience leading QA initiatives, manage small teams, and driving quality across the SDLC. Strong working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops for test management, CI/CD integration, and defect tracking is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using Azure Dev Ops.
Ensure high product quality through structured QA processes and best practices.

Automation Testing
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Improve automation coverage and optimize execution time.
Collaborate with developers to implement test automation strategies.

Azure Dev Ops & CI/CD
Manage test plans, test suites, and work items in Azure Dev Ops.
Work closely with Dev Ops teams to integrate automated testing into build and release pipelines.
Monitor test execution reports and provide actionable insights.
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a small QA team.
Allocate tasks, review test cases, and ensure timely delivery.
Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, Dev Ops) to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Drive QA process improvements and best practices across projects.

Skills & Qualifications

✔  Technical Skills
5–7 years of experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).
Strong experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
Good knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans).
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good understanding of SQL and basic database validation.

Experience managing or mentoring QA team members.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive quality ownership across teams.

Good to Have

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Knowledge of security testing basics.
Experience working in SaaS product environments.
