We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 4+ Years Azure Fabric Engineer to join our dynamic cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure Fabric , cloud computing, and the capabilities of Microsoft Azure services. This position will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure in Azure, with a focus on utilizing Azure Fabric for microservices, containers, and distributed systems management.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based services using Azure Fabric to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate microservices, containers, and distributed applications into Azure Fabric clusters.
Knowledge of parameterization, dynamic content, and metadata-driven pipeline design.
Experience integrating with common third-party systems (SAP, Snowflake, etc.)
Hands-on knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, API keys, managed identities)
Experience with connectors and integration platforms (Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Mule Soft, Boomi, or similar)
Experience with Delta Lake (ACID transactions, time travel, schema evolution).
Experience with Lambda or Kappa architectures, or medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns.
Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and API gateway patterns for third-party connectivity.
Experience with data formats and serialization: JSON, XML, Parquet, Delta Lake, Avro.
Fabric Data Pipelines, Notebooks (PySpark/SQL), and Dataflows Gen2 for large scale data processing.
Experience designing and consuming APIs as well as building event-driven architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus)
End-to-end security model spanning ADLS and Fabric.
Knowledge of data security practices (RBAC, private endpoints, encryption).
Required Skills
Preferred
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and cataloging (Microsoft Purview is a plus)
Strong documentation habits and code review practices
Identify performance bottlenecks and proposing optimizations.
Unity Catalog and workspace administration experience.
Preferred - Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines end-to-end
Ability to communicate with stakeholders across business and technical teams
Comfortable with Fabric's rapid evolution and incomplete documentation
