Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Support Consultant
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Support Consultant with extensive expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM (minimum 5 years) and Oracle EBS R12 HCM (minimum 10 years). The resource will provide ongoing support for all Fusion HCM modules onsite at our client location in Abu Dhabi, UAE, focusing on issue resolution, enhancements, and maintenance of HR systems.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across all Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR (Global Human Resources, Workforce Records), Talent Management (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning), Compensation (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation Management, Workforce Rewards), Workforce Management (Time & Labor, Absence Management), and additional modules (Workforce Predictions, Health & Safety, Self-Service, Analytics & Reporting).
Perform root cause analysis, apply patches, manage service requests (SRs) with Oracle Support, and implement proactive fixes for production issues.
Handle enhancements, minor configurations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data fixes using BPM Worklists, FAST Formulas, HDL/FBL, and OTBI reports.
Support EBS R12 to Fusion HCM environments, including legacy module issues (HRMS, Payroll, OLM, iRecruitment, SSHR) during transition or coexistence phases.
Document solutions, update knowledge base articles, train L1/L2 support teams, and conduct monthly health checks onsite in Abu Dhabi.
Required Qualifications & Experience Category Details
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in Oracle Fusion HCM (all modules).
- Minimum 10 years in Oracle EBS R12 HCM (all modules).
- 3+ years in production support roles with SLAs (e.g., 4/6/24 hour resolution).
Technical Skills
- Fusion HCM troubleshooting:
Logs, diagnostics, OTBI/BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, REST APIs.
- EBS R12:
Diagnostics, Form Personalization, Workflow monitoring.
- Tools: SQL queries, HDL for data corrections, SR Logger .
Functional Expertise
- All modules:
Core HR, Recruiting, Performance, Learning, Payroll, Benefits, Time/Labor, Absences, Compensation, Analytics (OTBI).
Soft Skills
- Strong writing skills for incident reports, RCA docs, and client updates.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Abu Dhabi, UAE (visa/relocation support provided).
- Shift flexibility for 24/7 support coverage.
Education & Certs
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
- Oracle Fusion HCM Functional certification preferred.
Location & Terms
Onsite Requirement: 100% at client site in Abu Dhabi, UAE (no remote/hybrid).
Duration:
Long-term contract (12+ months, extendable).
