Job Responsibilities:

Coforge is seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Policy Developer
Guidewire Policy Center Cloud Developer to design, configure, and implement Policy Center solutions on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
You will work across configuration, integrations, and custom development (Gosu, plugins, APIs), ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with product and underwriting needs in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Configuration & Development of Policy Center entities:
Advanced Product Designer, Data Model, Product Model, Rating, PCF UI, Workflows, Rules, and Localization. o Develop custom components using Gosu, plugins, messaging, batch processes, and event-driven patterns. o Implement Guidewire Cloud-specific patterns (cloud services, feature toggles, tenancy, environment management).
Integrations to build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for internal and external systems (e.g., Billing Center, Claim Center, payment gateways, document services, rating engines).
Leverage Guidewire Integration Framework, Messaging, and WS-I compliant services. Cloud Delivery & Dev Ops o Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops/Jenkins/Git Hub Actions) for automated builds, unit tests (Gunit) and deployments.
Manage cloud environments, tenant configs, and release processes on GWCP following change governance.
Optimize performance and reliability; analyse logs/telemetry and resolve production issues.
Quality & Security o Write unit/integration tests; support automation (Cucumber/Selenium for UI, REST Assured/Postman for APIs).
Ensure security, compliance, and observability (secrets management, least privilege, audit readiness).
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos).

Required

Skills & Qualifications :
3+ years hands-on with Guidewire Policy Center (Cloud preferred), total 2 years in enterprise development.
Strong in Gosu, PCF, Rules, Data Model, Product Model, Rating, Workflows, Batch, Messaging.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform: environment strategy, cloud services, deployment, release processes.
Solid understanding of Policy lifecycle (quote, bind, issue, endorsement, cancellation, renewal).
API development & testing: REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, Postman, REST Assured; familiarity with API security (OAuth 2.0/JWT).
Dev Ops/CI/CD:
Git, branching strategies, Azure Dev Ops/Jenkins/Git Hub Actions, artifact management.
Proficiency with Java, SQL, and XSD/WSDL.

Education / Qualification - BE/

B.Tech / BCA /

B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate
