Sr Cloud Architect – AWS

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for enterprise customers.
- Provide strong expertise across AWS services including compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, and security, with deep knowledge of AWS IaaS architecture.
- Evaluate customer business requirements and translate them into well-architected AWS system specifications and solution designs.
- Recommend suitable AWS services and integration strategies aligned with customer environments and industry best practices.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical design workshops, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for platform solutions and professional services (PS) workloads.
- Architect and implement containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring optimized deployment strategies.
- Oversee end-to-end infrastructure implementation, ensuring alignment with approved architecture and governance standards.
- Configure and manage monitoring and logging solutions to meet business SLAs and operational objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, guide engineers, and ensure high-quality implementation standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices in AWS environments.
- Work with Linux/Windows systems and leverage Shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and contribute to continuous knowledge management initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical concerns, suggest improvements, and drive innovation using AWS technologies.

Experience

Required:

- 5–6 years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud architecture and implementation.
- Experience working with a System Integrator, delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformation projects.
