THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep hands-on expertise in SAP BW (BW/4

HANA preferred) and a strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of end-to-end BW project implementations, solid proficiency in SAP ERP data extraction, and a genuine interest in evolving into the next generation of SAP Analytics technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate analytics and reporting requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical BW or Datasphere designs; produce detailed functional specifications and data-flow diagrams.
- Own end-to-end data extraction from SAP ERP: configure Data Sources, validate data, manage deltas and load monitoring.
- Design and implement BW/4

HANA or Datasphere data models; optimise HANA-based providers for query performance.
- Develop BEx, SAC Stories, or Datasphere-based queries aligned to business KPIs and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements, exits, and user-defined data sources.
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT support; prepare test scripts and sign-off documentation.
- Provide production-support hypercare; perform root-cause analysis and resolution of data and load issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation: design documents, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks.
- Actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, contribute to community of practice, and mentor junior team members.
- Engage in personal learning plans in line with the Accel4 reskilling roadmap — including certification preparation during working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- SAP BW, BW/4

HANA, or SAP Analytics certification is a strong plus — and will be sponsored if not yet held.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present to senior business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to data quality and accuracy.
- A demonstrable track record of self-initiated learning — courses completed, certifications pursued, tools explored independently.
- Experience in client-facing roles and managing expectations across geographies is preferred.

- SAP BW Implementation

Experience:

8 – 15 years of total relevant experience in SAP/IT, with a significant portion in SAP BW.
- Minimum 3 full-lifecycle SAP BW project implementations (design, build, test, go-live, hypercare).
- Hands-on experience with BW/4

HANA and/or SAP BW 7.x on HANA.
- Strong knowledge of BW data modelling:
Info Objects, DSOs (standard/advanced/write-optimised), Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and Info Cubes.
- Proficiency in BW Query Designer / Analysis for Office; ability to design BEx or HANA-based reporting layers.

- Experience with Process Chains, DTP, Info Packages, and monitoring of data loads.
- Solid understanding of BW architecture, delta mechanisms, and performance optimisation techniques.
- Ability to connect to and pull data from SAP ERP (ECC / S/4

HANA) using standard and generic data sources.
