Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive  Senior System & Network Administrator  to lead end-to-end IT operations for our India office. This is a  hands-on leadership role  where you will act as the local IT head, managing infrastructure, systems, networking, cybersecurity, service delivery, and IT personnel.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of  system administration, networking, and security expertise , with the ability to support a  secure, scalable, and high-availability IT environment  while aligning with global IT and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities
IT Operations
Lead and manage the local IT team across helpdesk, infrastructure, and systems.
Ensure 24/7 availability and optimal performance of IT systems (hardware, software, and networks).
Manage IT onboarding/offboarding and enforce access control and role-based permissions.
Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, and configurations.

System Administration
Administer and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux).
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and system patching.
Support and maintain Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, etc.) and Microsoft 365.
Ensure system resilience through backups, testing, capacity planning, and compliance.
Implement device compliance, software deployment, and policy enforcement.

Network & Firewall Management
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
Configure and maintain Fortigate enterprise-grade firewalls.
Monitor network performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement redundancy strategies.
Handle network upgrades, segmentation, and secure remote access.

Cybersecurity & Compliance
Enforce corporate cybersecurity policies and secure endpoints and infrastructure.
Deploy and monitor endpoint protection, MFA, DLP, MDM, and patch management.
Support internal audits and maintain compliance with standards such as  ISO 27001 .
Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Monitor and respond to security events and coordinate with the global SOC team.

Vendor & Procurement Management
Manage relationships with local IT vendors, ISPs, and service providers.
Oversee IT procurement, renewals, and license management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with global IT, Cloud, and Information Security teams.
Recommend technology improvements from a local operations perspective.
Report IT metrics, system performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Windows/Linux System Administration
Active Directory & Group Policy
Google Workspace Administration
Microsoft 365 Administration
Network Infrastructure & Firewall Management
Endpoint Management & IT Support Services
Monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix)
Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, especially  ISO 27001 .
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management experience.
Exposure to endpoint management tools (Microsoft Intune, Jamf).

Experience with SIEM or centralized logging tools (Splunk, ELK Stack).
