The Manager Data Operations oversees the reliability performance and secure delivery of enterprise data across the organization’s analytics and data platforms. This role leads day‑to‑day operations and continuous improvement activities including ingestion integration orchestration monitoring and lifecycle management to ensure trusted timely data delivery. The Manager Data Operations directs a team focused on operational support automation and reliability engineering while partnering with business analytics governance security and IT stakeholders to maintain a stable well‑governed platform that supports rapid insights and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in related field
- 5+ years in enterprise data architecture IT operations or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience operating modern cloud data platforms preferably Microsoft Fabric and Azure analytics ecosystem
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric components including One Lake Pipelines/Data Factory Lakehouse/Warehouse Power BI deployment pipelines Git integration and CI/CD practices
- Proven leadership experience managing production platforms and technical teams
- Experience with enterprise change management and release governance
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility/accountability in managing budgets
- Superior problem solving critical thinking and analytical skills
- Superior collaboration skills applied successfully within a team as well as other areas
- Superior attention to detail
- Superior interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
- Superior leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
