We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Lead with deep Open Stack expertise to design, operate, scale, and automate a on premises platform (Physical and private on premises cloud machines). This role will lead Dev Ops and Engineering teams in implementation to ensure high availability, performance, automation, scalability, and reliability of Open Stack-based infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Open Stack architecture, automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker Containerization, archest ration with Kubernetes or market standard tech stack, Linux systems, and large-scale distributed platforms.
1. Proven experience designing and building data platform infrastructure from the ground up, including architecture, networking, compute, and automation, supporting heterogeneous applications (e.g.,DBT dagster, kafka, MINio,Spark, Flink, Trino, Kubeflow).
2. Lead architecture, deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management clusters, ensuring stability, scalability and fault tolerance .
3. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tooling to enable repeatable and consistent deployments.
4. Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes (EKS or upstream Kubernetes).
5. Automate operations using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible to improve efficiency and reliability.
6. Design and implement secure CI/CD and Git Ops pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Argo CD, and Argo Rollouts.
7. Make sure the data Ingestion and ML pipelines are up 24X7.
8. Implement monitoring and observability for Kubernetes clusters using stacks such as ELK, PLG (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana), or equivalent.
9. Secure infrastructure and applications using IAM, RBAC, WAF, SSL/TLS, and least-privilege access policies.
10. Troubleshoot Linux systems, optimize infrastructure costs, and support high-availability production environments.
11. Build strong cross-team relationships, mentor engineers, and communicate effectively to drive successful Dev Ops initiatives.
