SAP OpenText Archiving Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, administer, and support SAP Data Archiving and Archive Link solutions integrated with Open Text
- Define and execute SAP Data Archiving strategies, including archiving object analysis, configuration, and execution
- Work on Data Volume Management (DVM) to analyze data growth, identify root causes, and recommend optimization solutions
- Design and support Open Text Content Server, Core Archive, and Archive Server
- Implement and support Open Text ECM and Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP, including landscape design, configuration, and testing
- Configure and manage SAP ILM for Archiving, including retention management
- Design, monitor, troubleshoot, and debug archiving and Archive Link background jobs
- Support SAP S/4

HANA and ECC data archiving initiatives
- Work closely with SAP functional modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HR) from an archiving and document management perspective
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, analyze issues, and deliver effective solutions
- Support and implement workflows, Live Reports, and Web Reports
- Participate in full project lifecycle implementations of Open Text xECM for SAP

- Strong functional and technical knowledge of:
- SAP Data Archiving
- SAP Archive Link
- Open Text solutions
- Hands-on experience with:
- Open Text Content Server, Core Archive, Archive Server
- SAP integration with Open Text
- ECM and xECM solutions
- Solid understanding of:
- SAP DVM (Data Volume Management)
- ECC and/or S/4

HANA data volume management
- SAP ILM for Archiving and retention functionality
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments
- Strong analytical skills to assess data growth and document volume challenges
- Proven ability to work in complex, global system landscapes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in SAP S/4

HANA Data Archiving and Archive Link
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with Open Text, including exposure to newer Open Text technologies and procedures
- Successful completion of end-to-end Open Text xECM for SAP implementations
