Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Developer with strong expertise in Service Now development and hands-on JavaScript skills. The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of total experience, including a minimum of 5 years in Service Now and at least 2 years of JavaScript experience. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Service Now platform while ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize applications on the Service Now platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Workflows, Integrations).
- Configure and implement Service Catalog, Discovery, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and ACLs.
- Develop and enhance features using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and platform maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security compliance, and ITIL processes.
- Collaborate in Agile environments and contribute to end-to-end project delivery.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- 5-10 years of total IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience.
- 2+ years of JavaScript development experience.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, CMDB, Integrations, and platform customization.
- Experience with Service Portal, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and scripting (Client & Server-side).
- Good knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodology, and ITIL standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Immediate joiners preferred or candidates who can join within 15–20 days max.
- Must be willing to work in Hybrid mode from Hyderabad location only.
