Introduction

Within the IT Flat Europe organization, the Digital & IT (D&IT) FiP (Finance and Procurement) perimeter is responsible for the IT strategy of the finance and procurement functions, including efficiency process and system exploitation and optimization.

As part of the D&IT Finance, the SAP ABAP Developer analyst will join an IT department focused on the implementation of SAP based solutions for order-to-cash accounting requirements. You will act as subject matter expert of the SAP processes.

What does the job entail?

He/she has to:

- focus on the technical aspects of SAP systems, including coding, customization and integration
- analyze requirements based on a specification document provided by the technical analyst
- draft technical specifications
- create prototypes to validate potential options
- assist SAP analyst with solution maintenance and bug fixing
- estimate the total workload of the development task
- implement the solution via ABAP-code
- perform unit and integration tests to detect/correct anomalies
- document the implemented solution using appropriate means (knowledge base, source code documentation, support documents, etc.
- ensure the quality of the implemented solution (alignment with business needs, compliance with standards, proper documentation)

Who we are looking for?

Your ABAP-developer experience allows you to solve daily problems and implement new enhancements/improvements. You have a strong IT background and strong experience in development in SAP SD, FICO.

You demonstrate most of these key competencies:

- Processes and IT system minded
- Team player
- ABAP experience in SAP SD or SAP FICO, by preference also MM
- Ability to work in extended teams located in Europe and India
- Relevant experience in a similar function as IT developer (3 years minimum)
- Eager to learn and adapt in our highly optimized SAP environment
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineer Electronics or equivalent
