Assistant Professor
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge and programming skills
- Research orientation and publication capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Student-centric mindset and mentoring ability
- Exposure to industry tools, certifications, and emerging technologies is an added advantage
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core CSE subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, DBMS, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, etc.
- Prepare course plans, lesson plans, content, assessments, and learning resources as per university and regulatory guidelines.
- Adopt innovative teaching methodologies, outcome-based education (OBE), and blended learning practices.
Research & Innovation
- Publish quality research papers in reputed Scopus/SCI indexed journals and conferences.
- Apply for funded research projects, patents, and consultancy assignments.
- Guide student projects, research activities, hackathons, and innovation initiatives.
Student Mentoring & Development
- Act as a mentor/advisor for academic guidance, career development, and professional growth of students.
- Support placements, internships, training programs, and industry interactions.
Academic Administration & Institutional Support
- Participate in curriculum design, syllabus updates, accreditation activities (NBA/NAAC), and departmental committees.
- Support examinations, evaluations, admissions, audits, and academic reviews.
- Contribute to university outreach, workshops, FDPs, seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications
- Essential: M.Tech /M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering or related specialization.
- Desirable:
Ph.D. in CSE or pursuing Ph.D.
- First class throughout academic career as per AICTE/UGC norms.
