IT Inventory & Warehouse Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Inventory & Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee the management, movement, and tracking of IT assets. This role combines hands‑on warehouse operations with inventory control, vendor coordination, and process oversight to ensure smooth and efficient IT logistics.
Inventory Management- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT hardware and peripherals
- Implement and maintain asset tracking processes using CMDB and Service Now
- Reconcile stock levels regularly and investigate or resolve discrepancies
- Supervise warehouse staff and temporary associates
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of IT equipment
- Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures for storage, handling, and distribution
- Organize warehouse layout to maximize efficiency, safety, and accessibility
- Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all deliveries and dispatches
- Work directly with vendors for procurement, receiving, and delivery of IT assets
- Partner with IT Service Management and Infrastructure teams to support asset allocation and deployment needs
- Ensure compliance with organizational security

, and asset management protocols - Produce regular reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and opportunities for cost optimization
This is a Contract position based out of Hyattsville, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 – $50.00/hr.
