Chesapeake Systems is expanding and looking for an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Field Technician to join our growing team for the DC/Virginia area!

Pay
: up to $50/hr. depending on experience

Company vehicle

Dispatched from home,

Standard Monday through Friday schedule! (occasional weekend or holiday work but not common)

Full-time, field-based

Manufacturer trainings provided – expand your knowledge with top industry partners

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
• Work with cooling towers, boilers, VFDs, and automated control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues accurately
• Conduct system start-ups and ensure reliable performance
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Knowledge of BAS functionality and system integration
• Journeyman/Masters License preferred (not required)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, laptops, and smartphones
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork mentality
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. frequently
