Sales Associate – Part‑time position at AGAINST ALL ODDS

Mall at Prince George's, 3500 East‑West Hwy, Hyattsville, MD 20782

The primary responsibilities include maintaining outstanding customer service, upholding the company’s Mission and Core Values, generating sales, maintaining housekeeping and merchandising standards, operating the cash register (POS), preventing loss, and supporting store management. Sales Associates are responsible for delivering the best customer shopping experience.

Store Manager, Assistant Manager

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by greeting, acknowledging, and providing a customer‑friendly environment.
• Maintain awareness of product information, promotions, and advertisements.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensure procedures are completed promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountability at POS registers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store management.
• Communicate customer requests to management.

• Knowledge of retail computer systems; MS Word and Excel a plus.
• Commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must lift, move, and handle up to 60 pounds frequently to stock merchandise.
• Ability to stand or walk for an extended period.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
