RN Unit Manager – Registered Nurse

• Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial functioning possible on the assigned unit.
• Actively participate in the Quarterly Assurance process, including attending the Quality Assurance meetings and submission of required reports.
• Make daily rounds on the assigned unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs for the assigned unit.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

• Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long-term care RN leadership experience is required.

• Must have an active RN license for the state of Maryland.
