Sunbelt Rentals—fastest growing rental business in North America—seeks an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Profit Center Manager in applying company policies and maximizing profitability.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- In charge of Profit Center in the absence of the Profit Center Manager.
- Assess daily need for purchasing equipment through feedback from sales, CSRs, customers, vendors, and marketing.
- Assess and modify weekly sales plans as needed.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory DOT and safety requirements.
- Perform dispatching duties (if needed).
- Inspect Profit Center yard daily.
- Ensure OSRs and CSRs are aware of slow-moving equipment.
- Ensure Shop Foreman is aware of all equipment not available for rent.
- Ensure Profit Center Yard, facility, and staff are presentable.
- Report daily contract, asset disposal, and accrual reports.
- Ensure team meets goals and complies with company standards through daily management.
- Perform other duties assigned by the PCM.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's license.
- 1-2 years of Rental Industry experience or a Business Management degree.
