We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.
Responsibilities- Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
- Collect patients’ personal information
- Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
- Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
- Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood and collect urine
- Correctly label samples and send them for testing
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
- Phlebotomy diploma required
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
- Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
- Strong computer and data entry skills
Monday/ Wednesday/ Thursday @3pm-7pm
