Position Summary

The Manager, Price Strategy, is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing pricing strategies that drive profitability, competitiveness, and customer value across all channels. This role plays a key part in shaping the company's overall pricing approach through data-driven analysis, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, the Manager will lead initiatives to monitor competitive pricing trends, assess pricing effectiveness, and recommend adjustments that support margin goals while ensuring the brand remains competitive and relevant in the market.

Planning and Execution

  • Responsible for the design, deployment, and monitoring of pricing and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Responsible for providing strategy recommendations to leadership and category teams by leveraging data across a variety of sources (e.g., financial, 3rd-party syndicated, marketing) to identify opportunities together with direct reports

Operational Excellence

  • Establish analytic models to evaluate impact of price investments and department, category and sub-category pricing decisions, considering promo assumptions and mix impact.
  • Monitoring and adjusting pricing strategy from post-event analytics, measuring financial impact of pricing decisions, tracking KPIs, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain company pricing strategy and supporting policies and procedures

Teamwork

  • Supervision, training and coaching of Pricing Team

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • 8-10 years combined experience in analytics, data science, consulting, pricing, finance, and/or similar experience.
  • Experience supervising, training and coaching of Pricing Team
  • Experience developing executive level presentations and comfortable presenting to an executive audience.
  • Experience working with large data sets and deriving actionable insights and recommendations, including those that have a financial impact.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, Python, R or demonstrated interest in learning.
  • Background in retail, pricing or revenue management a plus.
