$18.00/hr – $20.00/hr

The Driver is responsible for executing work orders in a timely manner and communicating with the customers.

• Perform stretch and flex exercises.
• Report to Dispatch to receive orders for the day.
• Contact customers to verify deliveries are as scheduled.
• Pull and load trucks as work order specifies.
• Make sure loads are correctly strapped.
• Deliver equipment, and if needed, set up work orders based on TXDOT and/or MUTCD standards.
• Upon completion of work order, get work order signed.
• Upon receipt of signed work order, report to Dispatch for additional daily tasks.
• Fill up work trucks with fuel.
• Make sure work trucks are clean.

• Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner.

• High school degree or equivalent education/experience.

• Light industrial work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move, transport, install, and remove objects.
• Visual acuity is constantly required to operate machines, equipment, and/or motor vehicles, perform mechanical or skilled trade tasks, and ensure the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Frequently subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions with no effective protection from the weather.
• Occasionally subject to hazards that may include a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat exposure to chemicals, and/or functioning in narrow aisles or passage ways.
• Occasionally subject to noise at a level that may require the employee to shout in order to be heard.
• Occasionally communicates with customers and employees in other departments. Must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing.
