Purpose:

The Executive Director of Secondary Schools provides leadership, direction, and supervision for schools’ efficient operational and academic management by directly supervising secondary principals. This position supports the continued growth of principals to increase effectiveness and is responsible for the supervision of assigned school leaders, continuous improvement of schools and ensuring student achievement gains at the school level.

• Education/Certification: Master’s degree in administration or related field required;
  Doctorate preferred;
  Valid Texas administrator’s certificate required

• Experience: Seven years of administrative or supervisory experience preferred;
  Three or more years of experience as a school administrator required;
  Three years of central office experience preferred
