Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1210) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks and engaging with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and educate guests about current promos, store activities and events; inform about Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices; minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality.
• Explain and demonstrate features within the Target App and Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and guide guests on enrollment and use.
• Handle returns following register prompts and escalate to Leaders as needed while following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards; support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) and related processes with compliance to applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak times).
• Effective communication, a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members, attention to detail, and the ability to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and multiple devices; work independently and in a team; stay focused in a fast-paced setting and complete tasks within established time frames.
• Checkout operations, cash handling, and basic merchandise handling; ability to lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance and to work in varying temperatures and environments.
