This position employs an individual for advanced operation of a computer-based laser machining work center. The individual's primary responsibility is to laser process components via minimum instructions that may come in the form of drawings and written or verbal direction. Employee must become familiar with concepts of procedures and are aided with general supervision. Additionally, the individual may be asked to provide leadership and direction to newly hired or more junior employees.

This position is part of a team and a heavy emphasis will be placed on the individual's ability to participate in a team environment.

Shift available:
Monday-Thursday 5:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

• Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer specific process requirements. Must be able to comprehend documentation requirements.
• Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Employee may be required to adjust system settings within established guidelines.
• Inspect components to ensure specifications have been met.
• Enter data and report issues as required.
• Take responsibility as directed for all required process documentation.
• Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Resonetics policy and good safe labor practices.
• The use of laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources will be used only in a manner that is safe for all Resonetics employees and visitors. The various wavelengths of laser light utilized at Resonetics will be taken into consideration in this and other personal protection policies by the laser operator.
• Employee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment preferably utilizing computer aided machinery or similarly equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.

• Experience with automated inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.

• Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $/hr. For temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
