Harmony River Living Center is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Services Assistant to join our team at Harmony River in Hutchinson, MN. The warm and inviting community is located in western Minnesota, with a clear sense of camaraderie and community on campus. Harmony River offers care options including Assisted Living with Memory Care, Care Center/Long Term Care, Long Term Care with Memory Care, and Transitional Care/Rehab.

Responsibilities

The housekeeping services staff is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in work areas, buildings, and grounds. They maintain an attractive and comfortable home in an environment consistent with regulations and policies. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies, cleaning windows, collecting laundry from resident rooms and designated areas, sorting, labeling, washing, drying and distributing linens, and resident personal clothing per assigned schedule; ironing as required; inspecting laundry and linen; communicating replacement needs to supervisor for residents/families.
  • Ensure housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas.
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
  • Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability to take direction, prioritize duties, and organize work with others.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. This is a good faith estimate based on PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role and may change based on qualifications and market conditions.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
