Description General
Summary:
A Host is accountable for directing the traffic flow of guests in the restaurant, all payment transactions, and the security of the cash drawer. Position reports to the General Manager and requires minimal supervision.
- Experience or ability to read and use seating charts and manage the wait list.
- Knowledge of Rib Crib products, preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices; able to discuss with customers in person or over the phone.
- Ability to answer and direct phone calls, take call-in orders, and answer catering questions when necessary.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier stand and restroom facilities.
- Ability to stock the to-go station and package to-go orders.
- Ability to record and analyze cash flow and perform opening, running, and closing duties.
- Team player with a willingness to shift to assist and support the operating culture.
