Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Orthopedics

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position at an acute care facility in Kansas, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a 23-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics unit,

• General medical/surgical and orthopedic surgery patient population,

• Standard patient ratio of 1:6, with occasional 1:7 possible,

• Float to Med/COVID unit may be required, with ratios of 1:3-1:4,

• Charting performed in Cerner EMR,

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,

• Every other weekend or every third weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required,

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,

• Travel nursing experience highly preferred,

• BSN not required,
