CNC Associate

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CNC Associates to join a local team in Hutchinson, KS. As a CNC Associate, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to produce parts according to specifications. Your duties will include setting up machines, loading raw materials, monitoring machine operations, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Thursday to Sunday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Thursday to Sunday, 4:30pm to 3:00am

• Set up and operate CNC machines based on job orders and specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure correct machine settings.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure they run smoothly and produce quality parts.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company procedures and safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and computer-aided design (CAD/CAM) software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and operate machinery.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is preferred.
