Month-End Statement Specialist
Are you detail‑oriented and methodical? Do you enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes to support a bigger mission? If so, we’d love to have you join our team as a Month‑End Statement Specialist! In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Backroom Services team in Hutchinson, helping ensure that statement processing and mail preparation for our community bank clients happens accurately and on schedule.
Your attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive yet essential tasks directly supports the day‑to‑day operations of our clients—and their communities.
- Process and prepare bank statements and forms using folding, insertion, and other mailing equipment.
- Fold, stuff, and prepare overdraft/NSF notices and other special mailings.
- Apply postage and prepare outgoing mail in accordance with postal regulations.
- Sort, weigh, and post mail items; place posted mail into appropriate trays and deliver to distribution centers if needed.
- Monitor and maintain mailroom equipment and supplies such as envelopes.
- Follow daily schedules and quality standards set by the Backroom Services team.
- Assist with training new processors and answer questions as needed.
- Keep personal and shared work spaces clean and organized.
- Provide backup for other Backroom Services tasks and assist in resolving issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications
- Basic data entry proficiency.
- Strong visual error detection skills.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 8 lbs. frequently and perform repetitive physical tasks like standing, sitting, folding, and inserting.
- Basic understanding of bank transaction processing in an image‑based processing environment.
- Introductory knowledge of financial data processing, balancing, or bookkeeping.
- Experience working in a production or mailroom setting.
- Familiarity with using postage meters or folding/insertion machines.
- Prior banking experience is always a plus at DCI!
