Position Overview
  • Greet callers and direct visitors appropriately.
  • Direct callers and visitors to the appropriate staff person and/or department.
  • Act as a message center for the office staff by taking accurate telephone messages and maintaining schedules of staff.
  • Type correspondence, reports, and data as needed.
  • Process incoming mail as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform general clerical work and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience as receptionist or performing other secretarial duties.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to perform accurately in high stress situations.
  • Demonstrate professional and courteous interaction with all levels of staff.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent sitting;
  • Repetitive use of hands; reaching and turning;
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; light lifting of supplies and materials;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
