As a Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants in the Water Resources Practice, you will provide services for projects of various complexities with opportunities in stormwater management & compliance, watershed management, floodplain management, NFIP permitting & map revisions, flood mitigation analyses, permitting & design, stream restoration & mitigation, dam safety engineering, waterways development, bridge & culvert designs, water resources & construction permitting, and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) services.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects;
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure;
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support;
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects;
- Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff;
- Manage water resources related projects and tasks;
- Pursue client management and business development opportunities;
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Water Resources, Biosystems Engineering (or related field);
- Professional Engineering License (PE) in West Virginia;
- 15+ years of experience;
- Experience managing and mentoring staff;
- Experience with hydrologic and open-channel hydraulics processes and expertise in modeling these processes;
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills with a thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time and resources;
- Experience pursuing business development opportunities and managing existing clients;
