Job Description:
As a Travel X-Ray Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. You’ll work in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety while delivering precise, high-quality radiographic images.
Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients correctly and operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required
• Evaluate radiographs for image quality and accuracy
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
Education and Certification Requirements:
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active state license (if applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Previous hospital or clinical experience strongly preferred
